British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG) Meeting 2025
2025 annual meeting of the British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG), which will be jointly hosted by the Academic Committee of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), the RCSEng Surgical Specialty Lead (SSL) Programme, and the local organisers at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The BNRG is a community of clinicians, scientists, nurses, and healthcare professionals with a shared interest in neurosurgical research. The meeting has traditionally provided a platform for presenting and discussing new study concepts and ongoing investigations.
This year’s meeting will have a particular focus on technology and translation, in partnership with the Neurosurgical Innovation and Technology Symposium (NITS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England Neurosurgical Clinical Trials Team. Sessions will highlight advances in these areas, exploring how emerging technologies and clinical trials are driving progress in neurosurgical practice. However, we continue to welcome submissions from all areas of neurosurgical research, including discovery science, to ensure a broad and inclusive discussion.
We particularly encourage abstract submissions from early-career researchers and future leaders in the field and look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an exciting and forward-thinking meeting.
Abstract Submission
All abstract submissions will be considered for either an oral or poster (AO size) presentation at the discretion of the scientific committee. Accepted abstracts will be expected to be presented in person at the conference after payment of the attendance fee has been received. Presented abstracts will be published in the British Journal of Neurosurgery (BJNS).
Abstract submission deadline: Please enter an abstract of your paper (max 250 words). Abstracts must be received by 23:59 on Sunday 14th September 2025.
