Standard fee tickets are available until 14 days before the event. After this time late fees apply. We strongly encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment
Late booking fee to apply to online and on-site registrations after 14 days prior to the event. Please note, these fees are significantly higher than the early bird/standard rates. If your registration is made after 14 days prior to the event, we cannot guarantee that your requirements will be catered for appropriately. Please note that there may also be a delay to your check in on arrival.
Registering via Eventbrite is the fastest way to register and secure your place. If you wish to pay by invoice, please contact the events team at academia.bbmuk@bbraun.com
Completed application forms must be received 4 weeks before the event date.
Requests received after this date will not be accepted and payment must be made at the time of registration.
ABSTRACTS
The British Skull Base Society welcome submissions to the 2026 meeting being held in Stoke on Trent. We would like submissions in one of 2 formats. These are:
- Case reports (see more details below)
- Free papers
Each session will consist of a talk by an expert in the field, followed by submitted case reports with an expert panel. The intention of these case reports is to highlight state of the art management, important lessons, and stimulate discussion. The case report must be presented by a trainee. Their supervising consultant will be invited onto the expert panel. Case reports are welcomed in any topic relating to skull base.
INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
If submitting a free paper, please ensure the format is Aim, Method, Results, Conclusion.
If submitting a case report, please ensure the format is Case Report, Case Lesson.
In addition, there will be a (limited) free paper session. The free papers will be posters +/- brief oral poster presentations.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Sunday 19TH October 2025 @ 23:59 BST
Please note this is a strict deadline in order to allow selection by the academic committee with sufficient time for the successful candidates to book appropriate study leave.
Any incomplete abstracts will be considered less favourably.
